The event kicks off Wednesday evening at UVM’s Ira Allen Chapel, 26 University Place. Thursday sessions will be held at the Dudley Davis Center. Friday will include your choice of Vermont Innovation Tours that showcase businesses, farms, utilities, policy, initiatives, and communities as models of energy production, efficiency, and economic development toward a prosperous low-carbon future.


The host hotel is the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center located 1/4 mile from the UVM Davis Center, the site of the event. The Sheraton will offer a scheduled shuttle to and from the Davis Center throughout the event. Mention that you are with the “Climate Economy Summit” to get special conference rate.

Travel Options

Check-in will be at the Ira Allen Chapel on Wednesday beginning at 4:30 PM, then will move to the Event Tent on the Bailey/Howe Green at 7:00 PM. On Thursday, it will be at the Dudley H. Davis Center beginning at 7:30 AM.

Air Travel: The airport nearest to the event location is the Burlington International Airport (BTV) located in South Burlington, Vermont. BTV is a small airport - 1½ hours should be plenty of time to get checked in, through security, and to your gate. 

Ground Transportation: In addition to local taxisrental cars or Uber, our host hotel, Sheraton Burlington, offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport daily between 4:30am and 12:30am, and will offer scheduled shuttles from the hotel to the event.

Parking: Parking is limited at UVM while school is in session. Parking in the Jeffords Lot, available on a very limited basis during the day (no problems in the evening), is $8.00 per car per day. Parking in Gutterson Garage, which has a more flexibility (and is also generally wide open in the evening), is $4.00 per car per day. The Sheraton Burlington Hotel will offer a scheduled shuttle to and from the Davis Center on Thursday for hotel patrons.
